Build a tall structure

Use blocks, sticks, blankets, sheets, or anything you have to build a tall structure. Predict how high it is, then take an actual measurement.

 

Build a wide bridge

Use drinking straws and tape to make a bridge with your child. Design cubes and triangles then attach them all together. See if you can balance various objects on your bridge such as books, blocks, and toys.
